Microsoft account
The default application configuration uses the Microsoft organizations endpoint and expects a work or school mailbox that can send email.
SMTP client
The client must resolve the service hostname, reach port 587, negotiate STARTTLS, authenticate with PLAIN or LOGIN, and use the connected mailbox as envelope sender.
