Before you begin
Use a Microsoft 365 work or school mailbox that can send email. Confirm the target device supports the compatibility requirements.
Create the connection
Start Microsoft authorization, choose the sending mailbox, approve the displayed permissions, and save the generated username and password immediately.
Configure and test
Enter the SMTP settings, use the connected mailbox as sender, and send a small message to an address you control.
- Server: the hostname displayed by smtpify365
- Port: 587
- Connection security: STARTTLS
- Authentication: required, using the generated SMTP username and one-time password
- Envelope sender: the Microsoft 365 mailbox that authorized the connection
