Configuration path
Enter the smtpify365 transport in the TrueNAS email settings and verify the administrator recipient before enabling alert services.
- Server: the hostname displayed by smtpify365
- Port: 587
- Connection security: STARTTLS
- Authentication: required, using the generated SMTP username and one-time password
- Envelope sender: the Microsoft 365 mailbox that authorized the connection

Complete the application test and then trigger one real workflow to verify that configuration, event rules, and transport all work together.
- Prioritize pool, SMART, scrub, replication, and update failures.
- Schedule a periodic test so silence is not mistaken for healthy delivery.
- Revoke the connection when the system is retired or rebuilt.
